With the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards over, we’re rounding up the best SAG Awards red carpet fashion through the years and adding some notable looks to this list.
First started in 1995, the Screen Actors Guild Awards (also commonly known as the SAG Awards) are all about honoring outstanding acting performances in both television and film. Along with the Golden Globes and the Oscars, the SAG Awards are known as one of the major awards for the film industry.
On Feb 24, stars from all over will came for the 30th Annual SAG Awards, and it was unlike any before it thanks to several sensational and show-stopping red carpet looks.
Major nominees, and fashionistas, included Emily Blunt, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Emma Stone, whose looks throughout the 2024 awards season have already gotten them on many best-dressed lists.
Over the years, we’ve seen some spectacular looks on the SAG red carpet, especially when it comes to elaborate ballgowns and dresses. Think about it: there’s Jennifer Garner’s silk red dress from the early 2000s, Halle Berry’s show-stopping gowns over the years, and all of the show-stopping dresses from the 2022 SAG Awards — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Emily Blunt‘s 2023 look was a total optical illusion with sheer slits that expanded and contracted as she moved down the carpet. The stunning dress by Oscar de la Renta also featured floral embroidery.
Zendaya (2023)
Zendaya took everyone’s breath away in this floral-wrapped, pink silk Valentino gown in 2023. The star also had an outfit change once she got into the event and even that was a show-stealing moment.
