<report>This is easily a solid 9.3/10 for me.
Can't complain about anything in the game: from the plot to characters, to music, everything is nearly flawless.
If you are unsure cuz you saw the "trap" tag, I don't believe it's an important part of the story. It is, in general, very heartwarming and worth reading.
At first I wasn't into a certain character called Hinata because her chuunibyou(eighth grade synonym) lines can get pretty annoying, but I'm surprised to see her develop as a character as we enter her route.
that's proof that the game is worth playing, able to develop a character to such point that she's now my favorite.
Everyone are lovable characters, and I feel all the emotions that comes with the story (heartwarming, depress and emotional)

<report>This game is incredibly cute and it changed my whole view of traps being unsuitable characters. As the saying goes: "it takes a boy to be the best girl"
Otome Domain has incredibly cute scenes that's filled with lots of hilarity. The OST suits the goofy tones at time and the opening sounds pretty good as well.
The girls are all based and extremely likeable with their own weird little quirky problems with Kazari being an exhibionist and has a peeing fetish, Yuzu being hilariously terrible at basic house chores/cooking, Hinata having chuunibyou syndrome and talks as if being the Demon General but returns to her cutetsy, moe, moe speech pattern after getting flustered.
The camera is good... Read more »

<report>Otome Domain took me about thirteen hours to complete and I enjoyed each one. It has a fun concept that is rare in localized visual novels. The characters are great too. I really enjoyed how it connects their various personality quirks to their own challenges and a serious plot while keeping a fairly light and comedic tone throughout most of the story. Mixing in some touching, dramatic, and romantic moments kept me engaged the entire time.

<report>Spoiler-free as much as possible
Common Route:
The dynamic for Minato with Yuzu, Hinata and Kazari are amazing! I really enjoyed all of them and in my opinion, Minato is really best girl and oh man, it really takes a boy to be best girl. But seriously, I just finished the Common Route and it is fantastic. Though take this as a grain of salt if you haven't downloaded the 18+ Patch if you are 18 or older. Don't download it if you are a minor! It took me roughly 14 hours to finish the Common Route, though I was shuffling between the decisions that gets you into Yuzu's and Hinata's Route. 9/10 for the fact that the common route felt completed on its own, I would definitely drop it down if it... <report>Well that was a heartwarming experience, the girls aren't what they seem, they are extremely flawed, but you can't help but fall in love with them.
High production values, lovely stories with the right amount of drama on the latter parts of the routes, OH SO CUTE heroines, and nice messages. It was overall a cozy and charming game, perfect when you are feeling blue.
The only downsides would be that is VERY horny, lots of fanservice (it could be a good thing for you! Just in my opinion) and the sub-characters could be better used (what's the point of Nanami actually?)
Also the piano pieces were one of my favorites in all the VNS I have played it.
Don't hesitate, if you like heartwarming moeges you will love it (:

<report>Otome * Domain is a bit better than the vast majority of traditional VNs, and the way the premise is implemented becomes the foundation beneath that statement. You can look at any aspect of this title, and quickly realize that the effort to go above and beyond is there, even if the standard formula still applies. This means that many of the usual tropes, archetypes and logic will be found here, but enough was done to lose the feeling of "more of the same".
Positive:
- Trap protagonist - The concept itself is already rare in the medium, but the character's behaviour and effects on the plot are the real treat. The protagonist has the expected appearance, the skills of a young housewife, and... Read more »

<report>so to give a bit of context, the MC's grandma died, and the blond haired one (Kazari) felt indebted to the grandma since they were really good friends and made a promise that Kazari would look after the MC after she is gone. So she invited him to their school, but didn't mentioned that it was an all girls school. And now he has to dress up and act like a girl all day.
Warning, you have to download the R18 Patch from Johren, otherwise you will be locked out of Kazari's route entirely, no extras menu, and the routes of Hinata and Yuzu will just end mid way through.
Just who thought this was a good Idea?!?
Also in the 18+ Version on Hinata's Route, there was a scene where I couldn't get past... Read more »

<report>I’m not normally one for Moeges but this title, being a guy goes undercover in a girls school plot, seemed like it sidestepped my pet peeve of faceless, voiceless bland self inserts of a protagonist which causes me to generally avoid Moeges.
It definitely results in a unique sort of protagonist; can’t imagine the standard Moege protagonist getting the swirly eyed panicking look that accompanies a comedic breakdown and I don’t really pay attention to most H scenes but at least here, the fact that Minato also has voiced (feminine) moans and is frequently the bottom is novel.
Actually, I don't think its an exaggeration to call the protagonist Minato the best girl. He gets some fun snarky... Read more »

<report>Common route is pretty cute and interesting, but the heroine routes themselves are disappointing. Art is nice, but that may be all this VN has going for it that is above average.
To me the most disappointing part of this game itself is literally the branching point of the story. Like seriously, accepting a BJ sends you into one route, but stopping it mid-BJ splits you into one of the non-central heroine's route? Come on.
That's really it, I don't have much else to say about this VN. It's not bad, but I don't think there's much that it does well other than the art.

<report>I have to agree with all the positive reviews here. I can't find a single bad thing to say about this vn. that or I'll just come out as a petty nitpicker. everything it throws is amazing and written very good.
and it's not because this is a trap vn. to be perfectly fair this is just a standard moege / romance vn that you've seen countless times not just here but in anime and manga as well. this vn goes to show that it takes writing skill to create an otherwise bland setting into something memorable. it truly is a treat to finish all of this.
